Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Senior Manager, Employee Relations Strategy you will:
• Primary lead to design and drive delivery of a portfolio of employee relations strategic interventions and initiatives end to end to enable delivery of the People Care strategy, working in partnership with WHS and broader P&C function. 
• Develop and implement effective change management strategies to drive organisational change and successful adoption of new processes, systems or products for sustainable value to icare, its people and stakeholders. 
• Develop, implement and enhance icare ER frameworks, tools, processes and policies to align to best practice and contemporary approaches, integrating psychosocial risk mitigation into our systems and approaches with effective change management. 
• Supports on strategic, high-risk matters relating to Award, policy and ER matters, in consultation with leaders, WHS and representatives of icare’s Legal team and external legal providers.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships including with the Public Service Association and regulatory bodies to ensure that icare operates in partnership with key stakeholders and that emerging matters are promptly and effectively settled 
• Highly developed understanding of employee relations
• Strategic consulting skills to develop and execute solutions to business challenges to influence business outcomes.
• Tertiary level qualification (e.g. bachelor degree) in business, human resources or other relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through extensive practical experience
• Highly developed written and oral communication and negotiation skills 
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Facilitating a culture of continuous learning, encouraging innovation and product development 
 
Skills & Experience 
• Highly developed understanding of employee relations
• Strategic consulting skills to develop and execute solutions to business challenges to influence business outcomes.
• Tertiary level qualification (e.g. bachelor degree) in business, human resources or other relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through extensive practical experience
• Highly developed written and oral communication and negotiation skills 
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Facilitating a culture of continuous learning, encouraging innovation and product development
