About the Role

Manage the relationship between Digital & Transformation and the business to ensure technology and business alignment. The role is responsible for supporting D&T and business lines in the development of the strategic roadmap enabling the delivery of transformational change and facilitating the identification and prioritisation of business lines technology, digital and reporting requirements. This role is also responsible for ensuring business lines are aware of the D&T Strategy, direction & roadmap and are appropriately aligned.

Duties

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a D&T Business Partner you will:

  • Collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders, monitor current claims team performance and ensure that quality assurance and complaint / review processes are effectively manage
  • Own the business relationship between the Digital & Transformation function and business units by acting as the key engagement point for all queries.
  • Work with Senior Leaders across the business to support Business Lines with input into business planning to ensure technology capabilities & constraints are understood and factored into plans.
  • Assist Business Lines translate business plans into requirements and identify potential opportunities and gaps
  • Act as the central liaison point to assist Business Lines with the identification/triage of technology, digital and reporting requirements, understanding appropriate delivery channels and supporting the prioritisation of initiatives.
  • Ensure a shared understanding of the roadmap to prompt discussions, clear roadblocks, and highlight resource demand
  • Collaborate with and influence a wide range of stakeholders to ensure product alignment and identification of cross-delivery dependencies.
  • Work collaboratively with the business and other stakeholders to understand and communicate their needs
  • Support Business lines with the understanding of system capabilities, workflow and business processes to reduce duplication and rework.
  • Assist Digital & Transformation to understand business requirements through the provision of business context and understanding the Business Lines’ current and future objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant degree qualifications, e.g. allied health or business
  • Experience in relationship management in Business Technology across all stakeholder levels
  • Experiencing in managing projects or leading initiatives in a technology setting
  • Well-developed coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Experience in Insurance and Care industry, in policy and or Claims
  • Understanding and experience in core system technologies, including Guidewire, Fineos, Salesforce, Digital and/or document management
