About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst role assists the Strategic Partnering and Performance team to analyse, refine, and build processes and solutions to support day to day activities within the team.
As a Senior BA there is also an expectation that all system and manual workflows are viewed through a continuous improvement lens and where there is opportunity to reduce risk or waste that it be raised with the relevant program or reporting manager.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Senior Business Analyst you will:
Undertake analysis on current, and proposed processes and data to support the development of the business requirements
Guide and consult during business requirements workshops with key business stakeholders, process/data mapping and documentation to enable system design/build
Assist reporting or program managers to build scope, requirements, map delivery timelines, then track completion and progress
Critically review business processes, identify risks, issues and impacts
Provide independent and high-level advice and analysis to business leaders on opportunities for process re-engineering
Facilitate changes through the provision of well-researched analysis and information to the business and by ensuring that the requirements for change are clearly identified.
Assist in implementation and testing of the system based and manual solutions
Assisting in preparing a range of project related documents, including status updates and reports
Provide an informed fact-base to assist with prioritisation of initiatives based on business needs and Those we Serve
Serving as a liaison between project stakeholders and end users
Monitor and document post implementation problems and determine impact assessment
Skills & Experience
A broad range of experience in business analysis, preferably within the Guidewire or claims management environments.
Experience in implementing understanding and optimising claims management platforms.
Strong excel skills
Good understanding of JIRA, Confluence and Qlik is highly beneficial
Good understanding of Information Security in a complex environment.
Relevant tertiary education, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through extensive practical experience.
Highly developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
Interpersonal and consultative skills.
Strong facilitation skills.
