Offering starting salary of $129,464
About the Role
Undertake analysis of datasets to assist in identifying emerging issues / trends and translate analysis into actionable insights for senior management. Regular stakeholder management required to understand all aspects of the Workers Compensation scheme performance including data and analytics, portfolio and claims performance teams.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Business Insights Analyst you will:
Monitoring scheme performance and working with the relevant portfolio leads to identify risks to operational performance and valuation outcomes.
Work with relevant stakeholders to identify initiatives that address and improve scheme performance in line with Workers Compensation strategic objectives.
Provide technical advice on the interpretation and application of claims data and related activities.
Undertake complex data analysis to assist in identifying trends and provide scheme-wide and segment insights to inform a range of reporting requirements and translate the data analysis into actionable insights for senior management.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders to effectively identify and address areas of improvement to lift performance
Work closely with the Business insights Lead and the broader Insights, Analytics & Reporting team, to provide ongoing support to the deliverables across the Workers Compensation Scheme.
Skills & Experience
Experience in insurance (Workers Compensation knowledge)
Experience in analysing data, identifying and presenting insights to inform decision making.
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. SAS or SQL skills essential.
