Duties

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same. As a Senior Business Analyst Capability & Assurance you will be responsible for:

Business analysis governance and standardisation 

  • Establish and align business analysis and process governance frameworks/procedures (where applicable) to ensure consistency and quality in business analysis across the enterprise, without compromising agility
  • Support the maintenance of business and process analysis standards across the organisation
  • Maintain a central repository of business analysis tools, templates, and frameworks and ensure it remains up to date
  • Support the establishment of a community of practice focused on building out T-shaped skills for practice members
  • Explore opportunities to improve organizational capability in the areas of business and process analysis

Compliance and assurance

  • Conduct regular audits, reviews and risk assessments to identify non-compliance and inefficiencies in business analysis and process management documentation
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address capability gaps
  • Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and operational risk requirements are considered and/or embedded in business analysis practice

Stakeholder engagement and support

  • Support the Manager Business and Process Analysis Practice to manage relationships with business stakeholders
  • Support the Manager Business and Process Analysis Practice to manage resource allocation activities
  • Facilitate training and awareness sessions to promote compliance and best practices

Continuous improvement and reporting

  • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track compliance, completion and resource allocation activities.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance practice maturity, quality and accountability
  • Leverage insights from audits and performance data to recommend continuous improvement initiatives across the business analysis and process practice.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with expert level understanding of business analysis practices and industry standards
  • Previous experience working in or with risk and compliance – a sound knowledge of operational risk management.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite (including Visio, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Project, and Teams).
  • Intermediate in data analytics/reporting/insights capability
  • Previous coaching or leadership experience preferred
