About the role
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our team on an exciting water project! 

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in project engineering, construction and commissioning.
  • Experience in Water and Wastewater projects, both treatment and transfer infrastructure.
  • Highly developed communication skills to motivate, inspire and influence.
  • Attention to detail, and a strong client focus.
  • Knowledge of HSE and statutory requirements, including safety case, risk assessment and mitigation processes such as CHAZOP, CHAIR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resourcing, management and supervision of the Commissioning Team.
  • Developing commissioning philosophies and methods that minimise risk to safety, the environment, assets and production.
  • Ensuring all commissioning documentation and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all Company statutory permits and approvals are identified and implemented prior to commencement of work.
  • Providing strategic and proactive resolutions to issues identified relating to Commissioning requirements.
  • Overseeing all required inspections/Audits and FAT's and ensure commissioning personnel attendance.
