Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a communications professional to work closely with our Stakeholder Manager in representing BMD's interests in a professional manner across large water infrastructure projects in Richmond.  

Other duties and responsibilities include:

· To conduct visits & communication plans as required by the specific Project Management Plan

· Ensure that all residents are aware on the changes to construction, through letterbox drops, web updates and media as required

· Maintain and Manage the Stakeholder database

· Report & document all complaints and report progress amongst the team.

· Respond to and close out all complaints

. Produce communication collateral ie newsletter, notification, web updates

· Provide specific advice on community related matters

· Create and maintain an active interest in community awareness throughout the project

· Be the first point of contact for clients and members of the public

· Assist in enquiries via email and on the telephone

· Undertake designated administrative duties ie typing, emailing, photocopying, filing etc

· Develop a culture of internal communication initiatives that promote and strengthen team unity

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

• 2yrs+ stakeholder advisor experience 
• Tertiary Degree, Certificate or equivalent industry experience in marketing, public relations, media relations, communications or business
