About the role:

As an experienced Contracts Administrator, you will support the BMD Urban Construction Manager with the oversight and input into commercial aspects of the Victorian region. 

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop, set up and administer all project sub-contract agreements.
  • Develop the project budget, track costs and maintain project valuations in Jobpac.
  • Undertake cost planning and quantity surveying as required by the project.
  • Verify sub-contractor quotes.
  • Ensure compliance with BMD site recording systems and prepare reports for Head Office.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with:

  • Education - Tertiary qualification in construction management (preferred)
  • Experience - 5+ years in a similar contracts administration role within the construction industry
  • Commercial Expertise - Proven track record leading commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Communication Skills - Natural relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Technical Competence - Strong technical expertise with attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Experience using SharePoint and/or JobPac software applications, and the Microsoft Office suite.
