About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Surveyor to join our team in a permanent full-time role across key civil infrastructure projects in the NSW/ACT region. The first assignment will be supporting a major road and bridge project based in South-West Sydney.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out accurate and timely surveying fieldwork and contributing to the quality and delivery of the project’s construction program. Working closely with engineering, design, and construction teams, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring site data is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with project requirements.

  • Conduct feature, level, and as-built surveys

  • Perform civil set-out for roads, drainage, earthworks, and structures

  • Assist with the establishment and maintenance of survey control

  • Carry out data processing, calculations, and reporting

  • Contribute to QA documentation and maintain accurate survey records

  • Support senior surveyors and engineers with day-to-day surveying requirements

About you

  • Strong experience in civil construction surveying

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performing site team

  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Effective communication skills across field and office environments

Skills and Experience Required

  • Tertiary qualifications in surveying or spatial science (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3–5 years surveying experience in civil construction

  • Strong capability using field software and hardware including Trimble, Topcon or Leica equipment

  • Proficient in survey software such as 12d Model, AutoCAD, and Trimble Business Centre

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

  • Experience with drones and remote sensing technology advantageous
