About the Project
The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park.

The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Major Roads Projects Victoria (MRPV), forming a single, collaborative team.

As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.

We’re completing the link together and bringing it home for our community.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading financial operations and supporting commercial strategy across the TSA project. Reporting to the Commercial and Finance Manager, you’ll oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management to ensure the project meets its contractual and performance targets..

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial management processes including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and alliance governance requirements.
• Support commercial decision-making through financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including MRPV, subcontractors, and alliance partners.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and project controls.
• Champion the alliance culture, values, and diversity initiatives.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering excellence in financial and commercial management. You bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying, Business or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in senior financial roles within construction or engineering projects.
• Advanced skills in financial systems, contract administration, and risk management.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A commitment to safety, inclusion, and collaborative project delivery.
