About the Role

BMD Constructions, together with Abergeldie and KBR (as ABK Joint Venture), have secured South East Water (SEW) Integrated Planning and Delivery (IPD) capital works program as part of a milestone 10-year contract.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our dedicated SEW panel projects team.  You’ll manage technical aspects of project delivery, supporting construction teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and delivery of water infrastructure projects
  • Support contract administration, procurement, and cost tracking
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives including recycled water integration
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and assist with client communications

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering (civil, environmental, or related)
  • Experience in infrastructure or water projects (preferred)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sustainability and innovation in infrastructure
