The Role

BMD is seeking experienced and motivated Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join our delivery teams working on complex civil infrastructure projects at Melbourne Airport.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile works in a dynamic airside environment, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of critical aviation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering civil construction works including pavements, trenching, and airfield infrastructure.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to meet project milestones.
• Monitor quality, safety, and environmental compliance in line with APAM and CASA standards.
• Support project reporting, cost tracking, and program updates.
• Liaise with airport stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of works in operational environments.
• Maintain accurate site records and contribute to continuous improvement.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil construction, ideally within airport or airside environments.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and operational compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in project systems (e.g., Jobpac, Aconex, MS Project).
• Airside pass or ability to obtain one.
