About the Role

As Project Quality Manager, you’ll lead the implementation of quality systems and compliance across all phases of the Charmhaven Wastewater Treatment Plant project on the Central Coast. Reporting to the Regional Quality & Systems Manager, you’ll drive continuous improvement, manage non-conformances, and foster a culture of quality and accountability. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure delivery meets BMD, client, and ISO 9001 standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and empower project quality teams for successful outcomes
  • Develop and maintain project Quality Management Plans and audit schedules
  • Identify, document, and resolve non-conformances with corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimise project performance
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports for clients and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and ISO standards

 

About You

Based on-site at Charmhaven, you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, technical expertise, and a passion for quality. You’ll have a strong background in quality management within the construction industry, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple objectives in a dynamic environment.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in quality management within construction
  • Quality Lead Auditor (ISO 9001; ISO 14001/45001 desirable)
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and manage risk
