About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team on the Palmer Wind Farm Project in South Australia. Open to local SA candidates or FIFO/DIDO from Victoria.

This is a key site-based role, reporting to the Project Manager. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of environmental systems and controls to ensure compliance with project approvals, legislation and BMD environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and managing the Project Environmental Management Plan (PEMP)
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental approvals, legislation and project conditions
  • Providing environmental advice and support to the project team, subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Managing environmental risks, audits, inspections and reporting
  • Liaising with regulators, consultants and clients as required
  • Preparing environmental reports, records and documentation
  • Supporting a culture of environmental awareness and continuous improvement on site

About You

You will be a proactive and solutions‑focused environmental professional with experience on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects, ideally within the renewable energy sector.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in an Environmental Manager or Environmental Advisor role on major projects
  • Strong knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience developing and implementing environmental management plans
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work autonomously in a site‑based environment
