About the role:

As a Senior 12D Design Engineer based in our Melbourne office, you will work closely with the team in Brisbane to prepare and deliver engineering solutions to clients as per their project requirements.

This role will be responsible for the delivery of subdivisions, land development, renewal energy and other civil infrastructure works such as including earthworks, roads, drainage and stormwater, sewer, and water infrastructure.

Key accountabilities:

• Produce design models and documentation using the latest versions of 12D Model and AutoCAD
• Develop innovative and efficient design modelling solutions, keeping pace with emerging industry technologies
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, cost‑effective engineering outcomes
• Collaborate with other designers to develop, maintain, and improve design and modelling standards
• Identify and forecast risks, opportunities, and scope variances within assigned works
• Prepare design inputs for estimating activities, including quantities and take‑offs as required

About you:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• At least, 5 years + preferably in civil and subdivision projects.
• Strong proficiency in 12D Model, with experience in areas such as macro programming, snippet creation, and chains highly regarded
• Proven experience delivering 12D civil designs, particularly within a design consultancy environment
• Happy to work in a Design and Construct environment. 
• Lateral thinker who can adapt on the run and ‘engineer’ out solutions in a collaborative environment
• Good communicator with the ability to craft and deliver a solid and compelling technical argument to clients
