About the role

As the Platform Manager (HSEQ Digital Platform), you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our HSEQ system – from platform configuration, integration, governance, and deployment, to user experience, adoption, and future system upgrades or replacements. You will work closely with HSEQ Leads, Operations, and Digital/IT teams to ensure the platform delivers consistent, measurable outcomes and supports our safety and operational goals.

You will be the central point of accountability for the platform’s performance, ensuring it enables safe, compliant, and efficient operations across the BMD Group.

Your responsibilities:

  • Own the HSEQ Digital Platform, setting vision, roadmap, and priorities.

  • Ensure the platform delivers value, remains compliant, and aligns with safety and operational requirements.

  • Govern releases, upgrades, enhancements, and licensing obligations.

  • Translate HSEQ processes into effective digital workflows.

  • Standardise practices across projects and regions.

  • Lead digitisation of critical workflows such as inductions, permits, inspections, incidents, and reporting.

  • Build strong relationships with site teams, HSEQ leaders, digital teams, and vendors.

  • Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and design solutions.

  • Drive user adoption through training, communication, and engagement initiatives.

  • Oversee integrations with other enterprise systems.

  • Monitor performance, data quality, and system usage to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Simplify workflows, enhance usability, and support data-driven safety improvements.

  • Manage user roles, permissions, configurations, and operational settings.

  • Coordinate support and liaise with vendors for updates, releases, and roadmap planning.

  • Evaluate existing platforms and plan for future digital solutions, including system transitions.

We support our people to thrive both personally and professionally. This includes:

  • Career growth with tailored learning and development programs.
  • Recognition through annual awards and our Thrive platform.
  • Mental health support and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Flexible working arrangements to support your life and family.
