About The Role

Working with some of the best in industry, we are in an exciting phase of change with our Safety Strategy, Full Power Safety Critical Risk Program, Leadership development and need people like you to facilitate this journey with us.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to be site based on large scale resource construction projects in Western Australia on an ongoing FIFO arrangement.

 

Solution focused and comfortable working in large project teams, you will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and ability to:

  • Provide visible leadership and engage with our delivery teams and clients
  • Lead and support the project team to champion use of our systems, client requirements and industry best practice.
  • Lead implementation of our Critical Risk Program, HSE standards and procedures.
  • Undertake audits, inspections and frontline engagements.
  • Contribute to risk workshops, communication forums and safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to work method statements, project plans and reviews.
  • Contribute to incident investigations and reviews.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Support training activities to build team capability.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

  • Formal Qualifications in Work Health and Safety
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in the resource sector
  • Good communication, interpersonal and leadership ability.

You may also have the following additional desirable skills:

  • HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse training.
