As BMD continues to expand internationally and across capabilities, a significant opportunity has emerged to establish a dedicated investment platform to support long-term growth.

BMD Investments Limited has been created to unlock this opportunity, focusing on raising capital and establishing investment channels for land and property development. This is a critical step in diversifying the Group’s capability, enabling new development pathways and positioning BMD for sustained, future-focused growth.

We are now seeking a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to play a foundational role in building this business.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute BMD Investments’ end‑to‑end capital and investment strategy
• Lead capital raising across wholesale, high‑net‑worth, institutional and private markets
• Design and structure investment vehicles including funds, trusts and SPVs. 
• Oversee deal origination, financial modelling, due diligence and investment approvals
• Build and manage strong investor relationships, reporting frameworks and governance
• Monitor portfolio performance, optimise returns and manage risk across active vehicles

About you

You are a commercially astute investment leader with a track record of delivering results in complex, evolving environments. You will bring:

• 10+ years’ senior experience in investment management, property funds or capital markets
• Demonstrated success in capital raising and investor engagement
• Strong experience structuring and managing property‑focused investment vehicles
• Advanced financial modelling, commercial and governance capability
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a new platform.
