About the role

We’re currently seeking a proactive Site Administrator to join our team based at East Arm project office.  This site-based role is ideal for a motivated, eager‑to‑learn administrator who shows initiative and is keen to build a career in the construction industry.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide high-quality administrative and financial support, playing a vital role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing of accounts and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising directly with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve billing and payment queries
  • Process supplier invoices and subcontractor claims, ensuring all required supporting documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date cost tracking registers and spreadsheets to support ongoing financial visibility.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with established procurement procedures.
  • Monitor and record delivery dockets and material receipts daily, maintaining clear and reliable registers.
  • Compile weekly and monthly project reports, including cost summaries, progress updates, labour hours, and procurement status.
  • Providing general administrative support to the site team as required

About You

  • Experience in site or corporate administration, ideally within construction, civil or infrastructure projects
  • Contract administration or accounts payable experience is highly regarded
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant business or administration qualification (desirable)
