About the Project
The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park.

The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Major Roads Projects Victoria (MRPV), forming a single, collaborative team.

As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.

We’re completing the link together and bringing it home for our community.

About the Role

As a Senior Sustainability Advisor, you will play a key role in driving sustainability performance across the alliance. You’ll work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to implement best-practice sustainability initiatives, ensure compliance with project requirements, and support the delivery of sustainability targets and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the project’s sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with client requirements and alliance objectives
• Drive achievement of Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) Rating targets, including evidence coordination and submission
• Monitor, analyse, and report on sustainability performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and KPIs
• Partner with construction and engineering teams to embed sustainable practices and identify innovation opportunities
• Engage with client and stakeholder groups to influence outcomes and promote a strong sustainability culture across the project

About You

You are a proactive and solutions-focused sustainability professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience working on major infrastructure projects.

You will bring:

• Qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a sustainability advisory role, ideally within infrastructure or construction
• Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g. IS Rating Scheme)
• Demonstrated ability to influence project teams and drive sustainable outcomes
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, alliance environment
