About the role

BMD Constructions is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Proposals Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of high-quality EOIs and tender submissions.

In this role, you will coordinate the end-to-end proposals process, working closely with estimators, engineers, project managers and senior stakeholders to deliver compelling, compliant and well-structured submissions. You’ll also support continuous improvement of bid processes and maintain key proposal documentation and systems.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of EOIs and tenders, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Manage the bid programme, including timelines, reviews and team inputs
  • Act as a key point of contact throughout the tender process
  • Write, edit and review high-quality submission content
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including estimators, engineers, project managers and senior leaders
  • Engage with internal departments such as marketing, legal and business development
  • Manage documentation and submission requirements through internal systems
  • Maintain proposal libraries, CVs, project information and supporting documentation
  • Support continuous improvement of bid processes and systems
  • Assist with general proposal and administrative activities as required

 

About you

  • Experience in a proposals, bids, submissions or similar coordination role
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality outputs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
  • Experience working with tender or document management systems (desirable)
  • Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
