About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Graduate / Environmental Coordinator to join our project team on the Palmer Wind Farm in South Australia.  Excellent opportunity for a junior enviro professional to kick-start their career on a large-scale renewable energy project, contributing to the delivery of critical infrastructure that supports Australia’s transition to clean energy.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in environmental management, compliance, and sustainability within a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing the project’s environmental management plans and systems
  • Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with approvals, legislation and project requirements
  • Support environmental inspections, audits and reporting
  • Assist with soil, water, vegetation and biodiversity management activities
  • Engage with project teams to promote environmental awareness and best practice
  • Maintain accurate environmental records and documentation
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions

About You

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
  • Recent graduate or 1-2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of environmental compliance and management systems (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Proactive, adaptable and keen to learn in a dynamic site environment
