About the role

We are seeking both experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join our growing Niepe team in Perth.

In this role, you will play a key part in the delivery of civil infrastructure and structures packages, working across planning, coordination and execution to ensure successful project outcomes. Depending on your experience level, you will either support project delivery or take ownership of key scopes, mentoring junior engineers and driving performance outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage construction activities in line with project programs
  • Prepare and review documentation including ITPs, SWMS and methodologies
  • Monitor project progress, costs, productivity and quality outcomes
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site interfaces
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Assist with procurement, forecasting and cost control
  • Provide technical engineering support and resolve on-site challenges
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • (Senior level) Lead key project areas and mentor junior engineers

About you

  • Background in civil/structural engineering or experience delivering structural packages (bridges, culverts, or tunnel structures) will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within civil construction
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, contracts and cost control
  • Experience working on structures, concrete or infrastructure projects preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work across projects in Perth and FIFO across WA
