About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of a major water infrastructure project located in Northeast Melbourne. Working within a high-performing project team, you will oversee electrical installation works across a complex water and/or wastewater treatment facility. This role requires strong technical capability, safety leadership, and proven experience delivering works in regulated environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical construction works across site
  • Coordinate subcontractors and internal crews to meet programme milestones
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements
  • Drive a strong safety culture and lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks
  • Monitor quality of installations including cabling, switchboards, MCCs and instrumentation
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Track progress, productivity and report on site performance

 

The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience working on water or wastewater treatment plants (essential)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems within industrial/process environments
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities effectively
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, safety legislation, and QA processes
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
