Housing Assistant (12 month Maternity Cover)

22.2 hours per week, agile working

Based from Linc Head Office, Newport Road, Cardiff, CF24 1GG

The opportunity:

Could you provide administrative support to our Neighbourhood Officers? Could you support victims and witnesses of anti-social behaviour? Would you like to help allocate our homes and help manage changes to people’s tenancies?

The role will support the work which takes place across our People and Place teams.

From responding to anti-social behaviour to assisting with community safety initiatives and allocating homes, no two days will be the same. This is a varied and exciting new role, which is suitable for someone who can manage and prioritise their own workload, create and maintain accurate records and ensure that all situations are dealt with sensitivity and with the highest levels of confidentiality.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience of working in housing, legal or a related field.
• Knowledge of tenancy and anti-social behaviour legislation.
• Skilled and experienced in providing high standards of customer service and resolving complaints.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload while working under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Fully IT literate in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
