Where does this role fit in?
As a Financial Grant Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing our portfolio of grants, ensuring their financial robustness and compliance with grant criteria. You will collaborate with the strategic assets team, care and support teams and regeneration teams and various finance teams, contributing to the overall success of the organisation's grant initiatives.

- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to make grant management more efficient.
- From monitoring grant spend to presenting grant positions at operational meetings, this role offers a wide variety of tasks.
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 3 years of finance experience or its equivalent, along with a firm grasp of spreadsheets and Microsoft applications. We're looking for someone with impeccable attention to detail and a knack for accuracy, coupled with excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Effective negotiation skills will be essential for collaborating successfully with colleagues and stakeholders, as is a track record of delivering excellent customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel with pivot tables and v-lookups, is expected. Knowledge of the Welsh Government grant process is a huge plus. Your practical understanding of business environments, their risks, and challenges will also be key in this role.

What are the pay and benefits?
- This is a Full time, 37 hours per week, fixed term contract and the salary is £33,660. The fixed term completes 1st June 2026.
- Option to work a 9 day 14 completing the same number of hours
- The majority of our Finance teamwork from home and attend our Swansea, Cardiff or Newport office for team meetings, once to twice a month.
