What are the pay and benefits? 

  • The salary is £32,512 for a 40 hour full time permanent position.
  • Our Pobl Repairs Team covers areas between Haverfordwest and Monmouthshire, with our office base for this role being Cwmbran.
  • Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days or you can work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight.

  • 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays , rising to 30 days with length of service
  • It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence.

What skills and experience do you need?

• City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) in bricklaying (or significant experience)
• Practical experience in bricklaying, ideally in domestic or refurbishment settings
• Essential experience in slabbing, laying patios, and paths
• Confidence working in empty properties and people’s homes with a professional, courteous approach
• Willingness to support other trades (e.g., basic plumbing, plastering, carpentry)
• Flexible, positive attitude and strong commitment to health and safety
• Full UK driving licence

Bonus if you’ve worked in social housing or used mobile working systems – but not essential.
