As an Area Neighbourhood Housing Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team to provide high quality, customer focused housing management services. You’ll play a key role in supporting our communities, ensuring our customers have safe, secure homes and can sustain their tenancies. Where does this role fit in?
This role sits within our Housing Operations team and reports to the Head of Housing Operations. You’ll manage a team of Neighbourhood Housing Managers and an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) specialist, who ensures that tenancy breaches are managed effectively. Your work will directly support Pobl’s commitment to place-based leadership, helping to create thriving, inclusive communities. The role covers a range of tenures including general needs, extra care and intermediate and a variety of housing management functions including lettings, neighbour disputes, ASB cases, tenancy management, and estate inspections.

A relevant professional qualification would be beneficial, but more importantly, we value real world experience and a passion for making a difference.
What are the pay and benefits?
- The salary for this role is £49,460 and is 37 hours per week.
- We have 1 x Full time and a permanent position and 1 x fixed term post (18 month). Secondments will be considered for internal applicants.
- The posts will cover the Caerphilly and Cardiff Neighbourhood teams and allocation of the roles to each area i.e. fixed term or permanent will be decided during the recruitment process.
- 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays , rising to 30 days with length of service
- Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days, we have a blended and flexible approach to the work we deliver. The role will include working closely with the local community and engaging with customers within this area; as such you will be expected to be present with your teams in these areas as required.
- Base location at our Cardiff or Newport offices dependent on the team you manage.
- It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence and access to a car
- Mileage paid at 45 per mile
- The role requires a basic DBS which we pay for.

- Second Stage: Selected candidates will be invited to attend an in person interview which will involve a task and panel interview on 3rd, 4th or 7th April in Cardiff
