What are the pay and benefits? 

  • The salary for this role is £26,208 for a 40 hour full time permanent position
  • Work Van and fuel card
  • 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays , rising to 30 days with length of service
  • Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days or you can work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight.
  • It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence
  • Base is Swansea in South Wales- covering properties across the West.
  • The successful candidate will need a basic DBS check in place, which we pay for.

Where does the role fit in?

This is a hands-on role where you’ll support our Multi Skilled Engineers on reactive maintenance jobs helping to fix issues as they arise in our tenants’ homes.

You’ll:

  • Predominately work alongside Multi Skilled Engineers with roofing and labouring tasks on site.
  • Assist with groundwork, fencing, and slabbing
  • Collect and deliver materials and supplies from suppliers like Jewsons
  • Fit key safes to enable secure access to properties
  • Ensure materials are on site and ready, helping the wider team work efficiently

You'll be a key part of a close knit team that values reliability, professionalism, and doing the right thing for our customers.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • A full UK driving licence – essential
  • Someone physically fit and ready for varied tasks in all weathers
  • Ideally, experience in roofing support or general property maintenance
  • Comfortable managing materials and logistics
  • A team player with a professional and positive approach
  • Experience in social housing is helpful but not essential
