What are the pay and benefits?
- The salary for these roles are £32,512 for a 40 hour full time permanent position.
- Our Pobl Repairs Team covers areas between Haverfordwest and Monmouthshire, with our office bases in Swansea or Cwmbran.
- Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days or you can work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight.

Where does this role fit in?
You’ll be a key member of our Pobl Reactive Repairs Team, carrying out repairs in occupied homes. This means great customer service is just as important as your trade skills, as you’ll be the face of Pobl for many of our tenants. You may occasionally support our Voids or Planned teams depending on the needs of the service, so flexibility and a team focused attitude are essential.
What skills and experience do you need?
We’re looking for Multi Skilled Engineers with:
- A City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) in your core trade – flooring, roofing, or fencing (essential).
- Practical experience in your core trade.
- Confidence working in people’s homes and providing a professional, courteous service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to carry out work in other trade areas (e.g., basic plastering, carpentry, brickwork, etc.)
- A flexible and positive approach to work and problem solving
- A full UK driving licence
- A strong commitment to health and safety
Bonus if you’ve worked in a social housing environment or have experience using mobile working systems – but these are not essential.
