Codi is a not-for-profit with a big heart and an even bigger mission. As Wales’ largest provider of housing, care, and support, we’re here to help people live well, feel supported, and rise to their full potential.
We look after almost 25,000 homes across Wales and are gearing up to build more than 4,500 new ones in the next five years. Every day, our teams support nearly 17,000 individuals with services that make a real and uplifting difference to people’s everyday lives.
With over 3,000 passionate colleagues, Codi is a major player in the Welsh economy—powered by strong partnerships, shared values, and a genuine love for helping communities thrive.
Our name says it all: ‘Codi’ means rise in Welsh. It reflects who we are, where we come from, and our ambition to lift expectations, lift communities, and lift each other.
We’re offering two opportunities within our Asset Management team: one full time, permanent role based from our Newport office, covering the East, and one fixed‑term contract for 24 months based from our Swansea office, covering the West. Both roles offer agile working and the chance to make a real impact across our homes and communities.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team, working alongside Asset Surveyors, Decarbonisation Surveyors and Retrofit Advisors to deliver joined up solutions across our homes.
Working closely with colleagues across asset management, housing, projects and regeneration, you’ll contribute to refurbishment, sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives, while engaging professionally and empathetically with customers in their homes.
Skills and Experience Needed
You’ll have strong experience delivering stock condition surveys and working with asset management data to inform planned programmes of work and investment decisions. A solid understanding of building construction, compliance standards (including WHQS) and property‑related legislation is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. You’ll be confident using mobile technology and asset systems, communicate clearly, and take a customer‑focused approach. A relevant HNC/HND (or equivalent experience) and a full driving licence are required. We welcome applications from a wide range of sectors, including housing, commercial property and construction, and value the different perspectives this experience can bring.
We provide full training for Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and offer development opportunities to become a PAS2035 retrofit assessor – helping improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon across our homes. We’ll also support you in working towards professional qualifications such as RICS or CIOB.
At Codi, our values are Compassionate, Authentic, and Progressive. When you join us, you’ll embrace these principles and thrive in an environment shaped by them.
At Codi Group we are guided, in all that we do, by a group of principles that we call FREDIE, these are: Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Engagement. This means that whatever your background, you will have an equal opportunity to rise with us and we encourage you to apply now.
If you would like any support with your application or to discuss any adjustments that you may require to support you to application process, please contact talent@codigroup.co.uk or 0300 373 5262
