Some roles react to change-This role helps shape the response before change even happens.

At Aston Martin, we're operating in an increasingly complex global landscape where legislation, emissions regulations and trade policies can directly influence business strategy, product plans and commercial success. We're looking for a Regulatory Affairs Planning Manager to help us stay ahead of that change and ensure Aston Martin is prepared for what's next.

This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of strategy, regulation and business planning, partnering with leaders across the organisation to understand emerging legislation, evaluate its impact and shape Aston Martin's response. From global fleet emissions requirements and regulatory engagement strategies to high-profile business studies for senior leadership, your work will help influence decisions at the highest level.

You'll be the person connecting the dots between legislation, commercial objectives and product and propulsion strategy. Working closely with Finance, Engineering, Trade & Customs, regional teams and external stakeholders, you'll lead scenario planning, oversee compliance tracking, coordinate responses to regulatory consultations and provide valuable insight into the opportunities and risks facing the business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complexity and enjoys translating highly technical or legislative information into clear business actions. You'll be responsible for horizon scanning, competitor analysis and legislative monitoring, helping Aston Martin anticipate change rather than react to it. Your ability to identify emerging trends, challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders will be critical to success.

We're looking for a commercially-minded professional with experience working within a global regulatory and strategy environment. You'll bring strong analytical capability, attention to detail and the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at every level, including senior leadership. Automotive experience would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in individuals with transferable experience in regulation, policy, strategy, planning or compliance gained within other complex industries.

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who is naturally curious, adaptable and driven by problem solving. You'll enjoy building relationships, leading cross-functional initiatives and transforming uncertainty into clear and actionable plans. This is a highly visible role where your work will directly contribute to Aston Martin's ability to navigate an evolving global regulatory landscape while supporting long-term business success.

The role is based in Gaydon and will involve domestic and international travel as required, offering exposure to key stakeholders, industry bodies and global markets.

Whether you're already operating within a regulatory strategy role or looking for an exciting next step where you can influence business-critical decisions, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within one of the world's most iconic luxury brands.
