If you’re driven by engineering excellence, thrive in high‑pressure environments, and want to work at the very pinnacle of automotive performance, this role offers a rare opportunity.
As part of Aston Martin’s Hypercar Aftersales programme, you’ll be supporting some of the most advanced vehicles ever engineered, including the Valkyrie, and working directly with a global, ultra‑high‑net‑worth customer base. This is not a traditional workshop role; it’s a highly visible, technically demanding position that blends leadership, customer experience and motorsport‑level delivery.
As Centre of Excellence Manager (AMTA), you’ll have full ownership of workshop operations across our Monticello and Apex sites, as well as responsibility for supporting customers at key global track events. You’ll lead highly skilled hypercar technicians, set the standard for quality and workmanship, and be trusted to make critical decisions, including final go/no‑go calls on customer cars.
Day to day, you’ll be hands‑on where it matters. You’ll ensure workshop processes are robust and effective, troubleshoot complex technical issues, support vehicle diagnosis (including escalation), and provide direct technical and roadside support to customers. Trackside, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers get the maximum time on circuit, with clear communication, rapid problem resolution and a first‑class experience throughout.
Beyond delivery, this role gives you the chance to shape and influence the future of the hypercar programme. You’ll drive continuous improvement, lead post‑event lessons‑learned reviews, identify future revenue opportunities and build strong business cases where investment is needed. You’ll also represent the voice of the customer internally, influencing senior stakeholders and ensuring the customer‑first mindset is embedded across the business.
This role is ideal for someone with development or motorsport experience who enjoys variety, responsibility and autonomy. You’ll be comfortable prioritising multiple demands, working cross‑functionally, and communicating clearly with technicians, senior stakeholders and customers alike. You’ll take pride in your standards, enjoy leading others, and bring a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, even when operating under pressure.
Experience with hypercars (such as Valkyrie build or repair), advanced driving permits, HV safety training and specialist certifications are all valuable, but not essential. What matters most is your technical credibility, leadership capability and ability to deliver exceptional experiences for customers who expect the very best.
If you’re looking for a role where your expertise is trusted, your impact is visible, and your work truly sits at the top end of automotive engineering, this is a unique opportunity to be part of something exceptional.
