About the opportunity
The Health Partnerships and Events Coordinator supports the successful delivery of engagement initiatives across UTAS Health. Working under the broad direction of the Director, Health Partnerships, the role coordinates engagement activities, oversees key deliverables, supports events delivery, maintains and strengthens partnerships and stakeholder connections, and contributes to systems and processes that enable high-quality outcomes.
The Health Partnerships and Events Coordinator works collaboratively with colleagues across UTAS Health and central university teams to ensure initiatives are well-planned, effectively delivered, and meaningfully evaluated. The role will be required to attend planned out-of-hours activities and be available for intra- and interstate travel.
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable professional with experience in delivery, coordination, engagement, marketing, or health, who thrives in a collaborative and evolving environment.
What you’ll do:
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance UTAS Health initiatives and long-term goals
Support the delivery and evaluation of events and activities that support student recruitment, partner engagement, and profile-building.
Collaborate with central university teams (including Recruitment, Engagement and Marketing) to ensure coordinated planning and delivery of Health’s priorities.
Contribute to the design and improvement of tools, systems, and workflows that enable consistent, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Monitor and report on the progress and impact of initiatives, using data and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
A tertiary qualification in health, project management or a related field, and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability in leading projects and working effectively as part of a team, as well as the capacity to work independently with initiative, problem solving ability, and accountability on projects.
Strong organisation and time-management skills, together with a demonstrated ability to work with competing demands, prioritise work tasks, and be flexible in responding to changing work priorities.
High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups and capacity to undertake domestic travel.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and bringing individuals and teams together to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
The ability to prepare and present information, in varying formats, to people from a range of backgrounds and experience levels, including reporting for senior managers.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $130,943 comprising base salary within the range of $101,821 to $111,917 plus 17% superannuation.
