The role

  • Continuing, Full time (job share arrangements considered)
  • Level 6 - $92,025 to $99,538 pa FTE (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange or Wagga Wagga (other campus locations may be considered)

As the Careers and Skills Adviser, you will be working with students, staff, and employers to deliver student career development, employability, and graduate employment services and programs.

You will be providing career guidance and supporting students to develop skills in job seeking, such as resume writing, interview skills and professional workplace behaviours. You will also be responsible for supporting programs that focus on employability and skills development and maintaining strong relationships with employers and stakeholders.

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to support students through the delivery of programs and projects.
  • High level communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent information technology skills and the capacity to learn and utilise new online technologies.
  • Experience and/or understanding of educational design concepts.
  • Hold a Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) endorsed Career Development qualification, or willing to obtain.
