The role

  • Full Time, Fixed Term (up to December 2026)
  • Level 6 - $89,345 to $96,639 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Any Charles Sturt campus location 

As the Learning Technologies Officer, you will be responsible for the management, administration and support of a number of Learning Technologies within the University. These include Brightspace, InPlace, Panopto, CourseLoop, Course Evaluations and Padlet.

You will manage the release and change management process for system upgrade cycles and enhancements. This includes evaluating the release, testing, training, communication and deployment for the release. Additionally, you will be responsible for the development and provision of training to staff and external parties in the use of the systems, supporting users, trouble-shooting issues and analysing business processes to ensure users obtain maximum benefit from the applications.

About you  

  • Relevant IT qualification with experience working with web based applications, or similar.
  • A demonstrated service focus with experience in supporting application users.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems at a complex level and experience in functional and user acceptance testing, including the development of user testing scripts.
  • Proven ability to work independently and think analytically to solve problems.
