The role

• Full Time, Continuing
• Level B - AUD 113,841 to AUD 134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Level C - AUD 139,182 to  AUD 160,308 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Wagga Wagga

We are currently seeking applications from an experienced small companion animal clinician and/ or educator to join a dynamic team focused on the delivery of excellence in clinical teaching and research. Working alongside experienced clinicians, researchers and educators, you will contribute to the delivery of industry-leading veterinary education while advancing your own professional and research interests. This role also provides the opportunity to follow studies in a special interest area and be involved in the development of innovative curriculum approaches.

This position would ideally suit a veterinarian with relevant ANZCVS membership or who can demonstrate clinical and/or teaching experience, potentially with, or working towards membership or specialist qualifications. Doctoral qualification or specialist qualifications or eligibility to sit specialist examinations is a requirement for Level C. Willingness to engage with communities and the veterinary profession are also important. An interest in developing an active research portfolio could also be pursued.

About you 

• A relevant qualification or equivalent experience, accreditation and standing appropriate for the level being applied for
• Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW
• Minimum five years' experience in small animal clinical practice
• Strong knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis and management of small companion animal cases
• Ability to deliver high-quality teaching in both clinical and classroom settings
• Ability to provide leadership, as appropriate for the level being applied for, in the small companion animal discipline, in the scholarship of learning and teaching and/or research.
