Responsibilities
- Monitor the lounge services performance in HKG
- Monitor the VIP handling and act as contact point for some VIP, premier passengers, senior management
- Meet and Greet VVIP & VIP passengers
- Lead and undertake ongoing projects either internally or externally to achieve the service improvement objective and VIP services delivery
- Control expenditure on food, beverages & other consumables
- Develop new channels with suppliers for cost control and quality control issues
- Responsible for lounge budget and costs planning
- Develop new lounge sales channels with external parties
- Promote the products and services features of Hong Kong Airlines to passengers as appropriate
- Act as a coordinator with internal and external parties to ensure excellent customer service is provided to our premier passengers at all time
- Monitor the overall operating environment of the lounge at HKIA and check that all service features are in good order including FIDS and business facilities
- Supervise the performance of janitors including clean- up work and replenishment of F&B and Lounge Officers performing their daily routine job
- Plan staff roster and real time deployment of lounge resource for the best interest of the company
- Identify any areas of development with product delivery and address this with the Airport Service Manager
- Prepare and consolidate Lounge and VIP service report for the Management
- Take decisions regarding station operations
- Take decisions related to risk tolerability in accordance with the Safety Management System Manual
- Take decisions regarding compliance with regulations, standards, company procedures and escalation based on risks and changes to the business profile
- Management of the HKA station airport operations (passenger & baggage handling, VIP services)
Requirements
- Tertiary education or equivalent, a bachelor’s degree holder will be an advantage
- 7 years or above relevant experiences in aviation industry and at least 5 years in supervisory level
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS office applications and Chinese Word Processing
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
- Good Leadership skills and able to lead the team to achieve company goals
- Independent, well-organized and detail minded
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organizing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with flair in delivering service excellence
- Candidate with less experience with be considered as Assistant Manager, VIP & Lounge Services
