Responsibilities
- Control the powerplant part of the aircraft maintenance programme to meet the Company’s business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate Airworthiness Directives (ADs), OEM’s Service Bulletins (SBs) and other Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) for fleet in service, and compile compliance documents to maintain powerplant safety and reliability
- Monitor the powerplant condition monitoring system and investigate the condition monitoring alerts and advisory
- Support the investigation on the reliability issues, Safety Review Board (SRB) risks and Internal Occurrence Report (IOR)/ Mandatory Occurrence Report (MOR) if required
- Provide technical support for powerplant operations, including repair scheme (out of limits in the Powerplant MM) and trouble-shooting
- Manage the engine shop visit plan for assigned powerplant type, prepare and arrange the shop visit work scope with service provider
- Maintain an effective Engine Maintenance Programme for assigned powerplant type shop visits;
- Monitor the new aircraft/engine to be correctly populated prior to entry into service
- Provide technical support for powerplant (aircraft) introduction and lease return
- Perform other duties or projects assigned by supervisor/manager
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Avionics, Mechanical, Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License holder or equivalent is preferred
- At least 9 years work experience on aircraft powerplant
- Design Organization background is preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Proficient in computer skills with database maintenance and Microsoft applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
