Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulating and executing 360 communications strategy for corporate milestones and key events in Hong Kong and overseas
  • Plan and flawless execution of events to promote brand awareness in various markets
  • Manage external agencies to ensure company brand and procurement guidelines are adhered to while ensuring highest quality of work is delivered by service providers
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met
  • Support crisis communications on operational issues, incidents or accidents to minimise impact to business and reputation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide strategic counsel based on internal guidelines and community sensitivities, to minimise potential risk to brand
  • Provide support to CSR programmes in overseas markets, including "Embrace the World" and other community activities to position airline as an inclusive and caring company
  • Proactively engage external stakeholders, including industry players, governments, NGOs, business associations, etc. to identify opportunities for partnerships or sponsorships
  • Engage and enhance relationship with media and social KOLs to amplify Hong Kong Airlines stories and contribute to storytelling ideas
  • Perform ad hoc duties/assignments as required

Requirements

  • Related academic discipline in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, etc.
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in PR/Communications; preferably in a sizable company or agency for a global brand and understanding of travel industry
  • Proven track record in effective communications campaigns and event management
  • Familiar with brand work, up to date with market trends to design strategy and direction to drive sustainable results
  • Good English and Chinese written and spoken skills, with fluency in Putonghua
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated, detail-minded and good analytical skills
  • Outgoing, passionate, and a collaborative team player
  • Able to work under pressure
