Administrative Assistant II / Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manager/Assistant Manager) in the School of Innovation in the Faculty of Engineering (two posts) (Ref.: 530650) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ full-time relevant experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English, good problem-solving and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work independently with initiative. Commitment to quality and accountability, as well as readiness for new challenges are essential.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to support the establishment of the School of Innovation as a University’s initiative to foster dynamic and cross-disciplinary activities.
Post 1: The appointee will be responsible for managing academic programmes including curriculum development, teaching quality matters, admission and student matters. The appointee will also provide secretarial support to committees and meetings.
Post 2: The appointee will be responsible for managing the finance and human resource matters of the School including financial report, procurement and claims, recruitment, personnel matters, and research grant administration. The appointee will also provide secretarial support to committees and meetings.
