Manager, MSc Student Services (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530677) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a good bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience working with students or customers in an administrative or academic capacity.  They should be a good team player and self-starter with a positive attitude, attentive to details, with the ability to multitask and work independently.  A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required, and fluency in Putonghua would be a definite advantage. 

The appointee will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategies and plans to deliver a wide range of student services and activities for TPg Alumni and Student Services team, including but not limited to hard skills training, student clubs, shuttle bus services, orientation, and graduation celebrations, as well as other enrichment programmes which reflect the values of HKU Business School, and promote student engagement, innovation, personal and social responsibility, as well as leadership.  He/She will also be responsible for the design, implementation and management of a comprehensive student life programme that supports a superb, memorable MSc learning environment, and enhances growth and development for full-time students.  He/She will work with colleagues and partners to enhance student experience and a seamless transition throughout the entire end-to-end student lifecycle - from admission stage, and study through to completion, graduation and progression to alumni, employer of future students and donor.  The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends, and travel to overseas or Mainland China occasionally.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
