Executive Officer, Corporate Services & Communications in the Clinical Trials Centre (Ref.: 531603)

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under The University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) and is dedicated to managing and facilitating international-standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices and medical technologies.  HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who pursue career advancement and success.  We are seeking a high calibre candidate to join our Administration and Corporate Communications Unit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in formulation and implementation of corporate communications strategies and publicity plans;
  • Coordinate various corporate communications activities and events for enhancing CTC’s corporate image, public awareness and internal communications;
  • Develop, improve and maintain various websites and social media platforms;
  • Prepare marketing and promotional materials, including publications, social media postings, website news, brochures, etc;
  • Identify and manage partnerships with external vendors, agencies, and service providers;
  • Support the handling of media requests;
  • Host and coordinate visits for VIP guests, media representatives, and external stakeholders; and
  • Provide guidance and advice to operational staff members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate communications and event/project management;
  • Proficiency in multimedia, graphic design and video-editing tools, as well as experience in content creation and social media management are definite advantages;
  • Good coordination, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Detail-minded, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and self-motivated; and
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is a must.

The appointment will be made on a two-year fixed-term full-time contract, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.  Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
