Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531693) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years’ work experience at supervisory level in the higher education sector or of a related field.  They should be competent communicators who have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to motivate their team members to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.  An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential.  Experience in undergraduate programme management would be an advantage.    

The appointee will play a versatile role at the frontline in handling the operation of a range of tasks, including management of a professional undergraduate programme, assessment, curriculum restructuring, quality assurance and enhancement as well as provision of student-centred services in teaching and learning.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.   

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
