Educational Psychologist II in the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative of Faculty of Social Sciences (Reference: 531714)
Applications are invited for appointment as Educational Psychologist II in the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative of Faculty of Social Sciences (Reference: 531714), to commence on September 1, 2025, on a temporary basis, until August 31, 2026, with the possibility for renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Educational Psychology or a related discipline. They should have training and experience in teaching mindfulness to adults and adolescents; good research skills in psychology; and a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Candidates with good practical skills in professional educational psychology; and work experience in school/institutional setting are preferred. The appointee will assist in planning and organising public and parent education campaigns to promote mindfulness in general; to review and develop various train-the-trainer programs and workshops/seminars organized in collaboration with stakeholders; to assist in developing the mindful parenting program and a self-directed learning tool for youth and adolescents at school age; and to write up research reports and non-technical documents.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave, medical benefits and a contribution to Mandatory Provident Fund will be available as applicable.
