Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer in the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531741) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience. An interest in handling laboratory animals is essential. Those with less experience may be appointed as Technical Officer.
The appointee will assist in the operation of the Surgical Skills Centre, and provide technical support to the maintenance and care of laboratory animals. He/she will also provide support to workshops which involve of human cadaver and handling of animals, and perform other related duties as assigned. Working on Sundays and public holidays will be required.

The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
