(Infrastructure Project Management / Transportation Engineering)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with hands-on experience in assembly and installation of mechanical and electronic components, participating in programming and software development, such as using Python, C/C++, Java, etc. At least two years’ related working experience is preferred. Knowledge in programming, electronic engineering and mechatronics engineering would be helpful. They should be competent in general computer applications in using MS Office and possess a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Apart from being self-motivated in learning across disciplines, responsible and well-organized, they should also possess good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as a team player in a multi-disciplinary environment. Preference will be given to those with experience in similar industries/organizations.
The appointee will be expected to assist the academic staff primarily in the daily operation of the MiC, Construction Informatics and Transportation Analytics Laboratories for research projects. They may also be required to provide technical support to IT matters, research post-graduate students, events and ad-hoc projects as assigned. On-job training of the operation of equipment will be provided. He/She may also be required to work outside normal office hours on rare occasions.
