Teaching Assistant for Climate Governance Courses at Postgraduate Level in the HKU Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality (Ref.: 531812) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The HKU Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality is at the forefront of climate education and research. Our Master of Climate Governance and Risk Management program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge to address complex climate challenges and drive sustainable solutions. We are committed to fostering an environment of learning, innovation, and impact.

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree. The appointee will work around the main campus and may need to work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist faculty members in preparing and delivering lectures, workshops, and seminars.
  • Support students with coursework, assignments, and project guidance. 
  • Facilitate discussion groups and provide feedback on student progress. 
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of course materials and resources.  
  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks related to the program.
