Senior Technical Assistant in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531816) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory/Biological Science with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a Histopathology-based clinical/research laboratory. Experience in basic skills and knowledge in histopathology techniques, including paraffin and cryo-sectioning, H&E and special staining and immunohistochemistry would be advantageous. They should be fast-learners, well organized and self-motivated. The appointee will work in a histopathology-based laboratory with on-the-job training provided, along with other duties as assigned by supervisors.
