Applications are invited for appointment as a Post-doctoral Fellow (Ref 531819) in the Breast Cancer Genetics Research Laboratory, to commence as soon as possible for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance.

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented candidate with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, be exceptionally organized, and possess the ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong expertise in molecular biology and cancer biology, with a proven track record in these areas.
  • Substantial experience in animal studies, specifically with mouse models.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management and reporting.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in immunohistochemistry techniques.
  • Working knowledge of SPSS for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Python and/or R for analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) results will be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in preparing manuscripts and research proposals will be an advantage.
